Description
Benefits of MOTS-c:
- Improves insulin sensitivity: MOTS-c can help improve how the body responds to insulin.
- Regulates glucose metabolism: It enhances glucose uptake in muscles, helping to regulate blood sugar levels.
- Combats obesity: By improving metabolic function and potentially reducing obesity-related issues, it may help manage body weight.
-
Increases endurance:
Studies on mice show that MOTS-c can improve physical capacity and endurance.
-
Boosts mitochondrial function:
It improves the efficiency of mitochondria, the cell’s energy producers, which is key for physical performance.
- Promotes healthy aging: Research suggests MOTS-c may offset age-related decline and frailty.
- Protects against cellular stress: It can help protect cells from damage and stress, a key factor in the aging process.
- May help with aging-related diseases: By combating insulin resistance and cardiovascular impairment, it shows promise for addressing diseases that are more common with age.
- Cardiovascular health: By reducing risk factors like obesity and diabetes, it can lead to improvements in heart health.
- Immune regulation: It may play a role in immune function.
Hypothetical Research Dosing Protocol:
2-4mg (20-40 units on the needle) subcutaneous injections 3 times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Duration: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off (to avoid desensitization). Administer in the morning.
Note: in case irritation/redness at a sight occurs, after drawing the needle with MOTS-c, leave in room temperature for 20-30 min before the injection. Inject into upper glute area, slowly.
